Welcome to Sasa's cooking blog "too good to be true." It's high time this was created. There are far too many amazing recipes making it out of the kitchen without any credit. So without further ado, let me introduce the chef ::
Sasa (or Sandy) is the genius behind these amazingly delicious recipes. He is already well-known on the blog Bluebirdbaby, where he has shared a few scrumptious gluten-free recipes. As a high school student, he could already be found in the kitchen baking bread, and when asked what his all time favorite birthday present was, he replied with, "a popcorn popper I got when I was 18!" (And that was said with a giggle and huge grin.)
After high school he traveled Europe where he settled in Switzerland for six months and studied Swiss cuisine while working as a chef at a hotel in Zermatt. He later returned to the US to attend the Culinary Insitute of America in New York. There he learned everything from how to chop an onion (and there were many onions) to how to make the perfect crossiant. From the CIA, he went to Maine to open up a bakery out of a barn on Mt. Desert Island where he perfected pie crusts and granola.
Now he's living on the coast of Maine and cooks every chance he gets. He experiments with gluten-free recipes (all of the recipes you find here are gluten-free!) and perfects them all. He's one of those crazy good gluten-free bakers that can trick people into thinking they're actually eating the real thing. Everything he makes is honestly too good to be true. (And Erin says, "the chef is too!")
Sasa's advice to all cooks ::
"Don't panic, and you can never have too much salt or butter!"
